Spray Foam Insulation

Benefits of Spray Foam Insulation for Montana

Northwest Log Homes uses spray-in-place insulation to create tighter, quieter, more energy-efficient homes built for Montana's harsh climate.

Good insulation is critical when it comes to protecting your investment. After seeing the limitations of fragile fibrous insulation systems, we invested in our own spray foam equipment and have been applying it to our custom log homes and traditional builds ever since.

Most heat loss has less to do with insulation ratings and more to do with air infiltration. The R-value means very little if outside air can move around the insulation.

Spray-in-place polyurethane expands into every corner, crack, and cavity, bonding directly to the structure and creating a true air seal.

Built For Montana Weather

Rigid urethane foam is often called "super insulation" because inch for inch, it can provide up to three times the insulation value of traditional materials.

Unlike fiber insulation, spray foam creates its own vapor and wind barrier while maintaining a consistent thermal seal.

  • Low moisture permeability
  • Lower heating and cooling costs
  • Improved indoor air quality
  • Quieter interior spaces
  • Prevents drafts and condensation
  • Will not settle or shrink over time
  • Fills irregular framing and cavities
  • Adds structural strength
  • Helps block allergens and pollutants
